Erasmus+ experience of a Logos Center student in Slovakia

International student exchange through the Erasmus program, as well as staying in another country and the desire to meet new people, new cultures from different parts of the world, represents a great challenge and motivation to apply for student exchange.

The excellent team of coordinators of both faculties were always available and approachable during the application process and upon arrival in Žilina. At the Faculty of Management Science and Informatics in Žilina, we were well received by the professors and students and the dormitory staff, which made it easier for us to adapt to the new environment.

From the first day through the preparation and the program, all students were able to socialize with the aim of getting to know each other and getting closer. Despite certain pandemic restrictions and study obligations, we had the opportunity to travel, get to know the city and country of residence, make new acquaintances, get to know the languages and cultures of other students' countries, and make real friendships.

It was an honor for me to be a guest on regional television in Žilina on behalf of the students. In the interview, I presented the quality of the work of the host faculty, and highlighted the quality of the work of my faculty Logos Center. Erasmus is first and foremost a life experience, with a unique atmosphere and a circle of students who share the common experience of studying in a new environment.

Student exchange is a capital experience that I would recommend to everyone. The challenge is to come to the unknown, to get closer to other students from other countries, other cultures and to acquire new knowledge. Don't let the fear of the unknown, insecurity, cultural difference or the like prevent you from taking the plunge and going on a student exchange and get something that you will remember forever and that will surely leave a mark on your life.

I would recommend everyone to go on student mobility, because it is an educational period that is filled not only with learning, but also a chance for getting to know a new city, country, language, culture, and people from all over the world.
