The opening of the International summer school “Crisis management“

International Summer School "Crisis management" was officially opened on 15.07.2016. The school will be held at the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, University of Sarajevo, in the period from 15th to 21st July 2016. School will be attended by more than 80 professionals in the field of security, volunteers of the NGO sector, as well as students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Kosovo.

The organizers of the international school are the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo and the University Velika Gorica from Croatia. Partners in the implementation of the International school are: College "CEPS - Centre for Business Studies" from Kiseljak, Federal Administration of Civil Protection, National Directorate of Protection and Rescue of the Republic of Croatia, Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, University AAB from Priština, College "Logos Centre" Mostar and Centre for social research from "Burch University".

Students and professionals in field of security will exchange experiences and ideas on current challenges, such as refugee crises, terrorist attacks and other problems, try to find answers, and learn from past crises to deal with some that are coming in the future.

Participants who successfully complete the International Summer School will be awarded with two certificates – Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, University of Sarajevo and the University of Velika Gorica, that carry 4 ECTS credits.
